Dresser told me the story of his time wrestling....

Now mind you this was the 80's and he was a light weight (142). What he told me was that they would leave on the bus road trips through the Big Ten and would be 15 to 17 lbs over, weigh in an hour before the match, be 10 lbs over by match time, be back to 15 over by the time they got on the bus for that night. Get up the next up the next morning anywhere between 15-20 over and start working on cutting for that nights weigh ins. It was crazy to think that these "kids" were doing this 2 or 2 days every weekend for 3 months.
Like I said, he was a light weight.. the heavies were doing even more...except the HWY they were "unlimited" back in my days!
